Signing up
If you're an entrepreneur, when you publish your startup profile and subscribe to aligned networks, you'll be riding with your classmates and colleagues. So, chances are they’ll take the time to listen.
But, if that doesn’t work, try pressing the buttons for all the floors.
Fees
. . . here's our price list >
USERS
Fees for Users
AMBASSADORS
Fees for Ambassadors (the organizations that sponsor our networks)
STARTUPS
Fees for Startups (Companies, Pre-Companies and Technology Transfers)
Administrative Fees for Startups
During the very beginning portion of our beta, fees will be waived. Thereafter, startups will be asked to pay a small one-time administrative fee when they first publish their startup profile. Administrative fees are charged to help us offset our costs and expenses. We hope to be able to keep them as low as $25 for Pre-Companies in the idea-stage of development and $50 for Companies in the concept-stage of development.
We will also offer financial aid to pre-revenue stage Companies in instances where the startup believes the fee presents a hardship. The administrative fee and financial aid will be based on the revenue or development stage of the startup's business.
Network Subscription Fees for Startups
Startup administrators can access the feedback provided by the investors and mentors who have joined the networks where the startup has subscribed.
When you first publish your startup profile, you can subscribe to aligned networks for FREE. If, however, you have used an ambassador provided Referral/Key Code, your startup will instead be given a FREE subscription to the networks(s) that particular ambassador sponsors.
Thereafter, the startup can subscribe to additional network(s) if it so chooses, by paying a small monthly network guest fee. We will share these guest fees with the schools and nonprofits that ambassadors nominate and network members vote for.

Leaving feedback
Everyone benefits when investors and mentors are prolific and their comments remain constructive. Startups have published their profiles and subscribed to the networks that investors and mentors have joined so that they can read what is anonymously being said about their business.
Reading feedback
Even though we’ve asked investors to leave constructive comments, nature being what it is, not everyone will. So, it’s a good idea to be prepared as some of the feedback you receive may not be pleasant. The feedback may, however, help make your business more investment worthy. Just remember, the responsibility for updating your startup profile is on your head.
Confidential information
We have no way of protecting it. Startup and ambassador profile pages can be found by search engines and certain content, such as your pitch, will be visible to anyone that visits the site
Sharing your ideas
We have no way of protecting the information that entrepreneurs publish about their businesses. So, if you choose to publish a startup profile, your ideas will not be secret.
Believe it or not, having a great idea is very rarely the principle reason a seed stage investment is made. The team and its ability to execute are more often than not, the most important criteria that investors look at. Having said that, there are often a number of reasons for maintaining stealth mode, especially if your idea uncovers a competitor's vulnerability.
Needless to say, we would love you to publish your idea. After all, that's why we created AngelRoot. But, if you are uncomfortable revealing your idea, even without explaining how or why it works (i.e. the secret sauce), as difficult as it is for us to say, please don’t submit it.
Editing your startup profile
If the comments that investors and mentors make are thoughtful and constructive so far as helping improve your business or making it more investment worthy, by all means edit your profile.
You can classify edits as being:
You can classify your changes in the customized section of you profile. If you fail to otherwise classify them, the default is update.
If an investor has filed your profile in their “track/follow” folder, a revision or pivot will trigger your profile to be flagged.
